Advance Tickets: Train tickets in the UK are much cheaper if bought in advance.
Apps: We recommend downloading the Trainline app. This allows you to check live schedules, see platform numbers, and buy tickets directly on your phone (e-tickets).
From Manchester (MAN): Take a train from Manchester Airport to Manchester Piccadilly or Manchester Victoria. From there, transfer to a train bound for Sowerby Bridge (often towards Leeds or Halifax).
From London (LHR): Take the Heathrow Express or Elizabeth Line to London Paddington, or the Tube to London Kings Cross / Euston. You will likely need to take a fast train north to Leeds or Manchester, then transfer to a local service to reach Sowerby Bridge.
